I love opening nights. The excitement around the theatre is usually palpable and 
everyone is eager to see how all the hard work and long hours of the past few weeks will pay off. We've been learning a lot during the preview process of A Delicate Balance, mostly with the humor (and how the show is a lot funnier than we were expecting!), finding the true pace of the show, and of course, exploring the shifting dynamics of the realtionships now that the final character (the audience) has been added. And then, on opening night it always seems like the last few things fall into place and the show is taken to a level that we've never seen before, but knew in our guts was possible.
Tonight's the night. And I can't wait.
