Ever wonder what a director does? What happens in the rehearsal room? Who decides what the actors wear? What’s a sitzprobe? All of these questions (and more!) will be explored firsthand in our first ever Musical Theater 101. We invite you to join us as we delve into Artistic Director Molly Smith's production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man.
Sessions will include conversations with stage management, casting, marketing, costumes, dramaturgy, and others, observation of dance rehearsal, music rehearsal, book rehearsal, sitzprobe, technical rehearsal, and invited dress rehearsal, a ticket to the opening night performance, with a few other treats thrown in.
