Joining us soon? Here are some easy ways to get to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater!

Take the Green Line to Waterfront Station, which is located just one block east of the theater, at 4th and M Streets, SW. Plan your trip on Metrorail.

Bus stops are located directly in front of the theater, as well as across from and slightly north of the theater entrance on 6th Street, SW. Plan your trip on Metrobus.

Call a car to take you to 1101 6th Street, SW.

Unlock a Capital Bikeshare bike, use bike paths, and dock at 4th and M Streets, SW.

Reserve a spot in the Mead Center parking garage located on Maine Avenue, SW. Or, pull up to our 6th Street, SW entrance to take advantage of our valet service.

If our garage is full, no worries! There are other garages around the Waterfront and Wharf neighborhoods. Advance reservation and payment is strongly recommended. Plus, it’s quick and easy!

Take a scenic water taxi ride from either Georgetown, Alexandria, or National Harbor to The Wharf’s Transit Pier, and then you’re just a short walk from the theater. (Please note the Water Taxi does not run in January or February)
